As part of a world renowned organization, Rotary International, Interact is widely recognized, and highly regarded. Interact is a community and family where everyone is welcome. Jewish Family Services

First Friday of Every Month, RM 386 (Heneidi)

The JFS club is partnered with the Jewish Family Services organization to reach out to families of all religions and ethnicities with low income. We provide assistance to those in need of food and shelter, and plan to raise money for the organization. We also volunteer frequently, such as our monthly visits to the SOVA food bank. Our mission is to make a difference in people's lives, whether it be directly or indirectly.

Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is one of the most widely known science competitions in the nation. In Model UN students step into the shoes of ambassadors from UN member states to debate current issues on the organization's agenda. Students make speeches, prepare resolutions, negotiate with allies and adversaries, resolve conflicts, and navigate the conference rules of procedure ‐ all in the interest of mobilizing "international cooperation" to resolve problems that affect countries all over the world.

Not really be a tutor, but a listener. We chat with people have different culture and learn about different life.

 

Join us and HAVE FUN! We help international students with their oral English, and the best way to do so is to chat with them online! Through charting, you will enter the life of people who is far away from you, and discover a new world! For understanding them in depth, we discuss every interesting aspect of their culture on meetings. In spite of this, we also hold fundraising events for other low-income students and care for their mental health. Join us ! You will be surprised at what you change!

An organization bridging the gap between government officials and young adults.

C'mon, admit it, who knew politics could be so complicated? Especially being in high school, there aren’t many opportunities for students to directly interact with their lawmakers, especially in such tumultuous political times. It is time to have your voice heard! Join The Countable Club every month for discussions with distinguished community leaders such as Congressmember Karen Bass, The Beverly Hills City Council, and members of the CA State Legislature.

Gay-Straight Alliance

The Gay-Straight Alliance, or Prism as we are calling it, is a place for LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies to come and socialize. It provides a safe space to ask questions, socialize, or come to for support. It will meet once every other week in Ms. Weiss’s room during lunch. You don't have to be queer to join, you just have to be open-minded and accepting! After all, our goal is love, kindness, and pride!

Toy Fundraising Foundation Club

Wednesdays after school, Student Store

We created this club in order to raise awareness regarding children who don’t have parents and their insufficiency of toys and books. For students who join our club, we ask kindly for a donation of at least $3. This money will not only go towards orphanages, but also other club activities and events. Some of these events and activities include: End-of-the-year parties, a pool party, bake sales, smoothie days, ice cream stands, carwashes, etc...

American Red Cross

Together, we can save a life

 

The American Red Cross Club's main goal is to educate students on the missions and goals of the Red Cross. In this club, students not only learn what the Red Cross does, but also get a hands-on experience by participating in Red Cross sponsored events, such as blood drives, disaster preparedness awareness shows, fundraisers, and many more. This club is a great way for students of all backgrounds to engage in community service projects while earning community service hours. Additionally, you will be able to meet new people and make new friends. We hope you consider joining this club because "every Red Cross volunteer has the power to make a difference." Thank you!

Game Creation Club

Every other Tuesday, RM 251

In this club, we create and demo games, whether it be physical or digital (though we'll primarily focus on digital). In the first few meetings, we discuss and decide what type of game we want to create for the rest of the school-year. We'll work in a team to accomplish whatever this goal. Along the way, we'll also begin small side projects as well as play and analyze many games and its creation and content. The programs we use are all free, and anyone who is interested in game development is welcome to join!

Lonely Whale Beach Club

Lonely Whale Beach Club is all about protecting marine life, keeping the beach clean, and spreading the word to others! The purpose of KTC Hebrew Club is to create a safe haven for students to unite and form meaningful friendships. Cookies for Cancer is an organization where students are able to come together and raise awareness for children's cancer research. With monthly bake sales at the farmers market, we are able to interact with our community, as well as raise money for a local cancer research organization. Cookies for Cancer has proudly raised nearly $3000 over the past four years, and we want you to help us raise that number!

The Triple A, otherwise known as the Asian American Association, is a club for those of Asian and American culture to hang out, and have fun while learning the Asian experience. There are some who believe the only "Asian" races are Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, but that's not true. We want everyone to know there is more out there than just sushi, kimchi, and chow mein!

Beverly Hills Backgammon Club (BHBC)

We hope to spread culture, keep traditions going and to show how fun backgammon truly can be. We also hope to teach other students how exciting the game of backgammon really is. Eventually we hope to start a league with other schools and compete in the game of backgammon with a passion. 

 

We meet every Wednesday at Lunch in Room S204 in the Science Building. We will have tournaments were students can compete to earn a prize. We will also have snacks. We also want to have a  fundraiser that will help us get off our feet and help us provide with the new sets. Even if you think it is boring, we are very open to new ideas and suggestions that will help even more successful. BHHS' Musical Theatre Appreciation Club

Are you a member of theatre or choir programs at BHHS? Do you LOVE Broadway musicals but not performing? Beverly on Broadway (formerly Broadway Babies) is a sub-club underneath BHHS’ Thespian (theatre) troupe that focuses on the appreciation of musical theatre. As far as our club activities, our two focuses are towards fundraising for the Thespian troupe and participating in program/club outings to theatre performances across LA. Sometimes we even just take up our meeting time with watching a musical-movie! If any of this sounds fun to you, feel free to stop by any of the meetings and meet our officers to check out the club and what we have to offer.

The BHHS Web Development Club is all about teaching you how to create websites.  You will learn the basics of web development, and will have fun making your own simple websites.  Eventually, the club will decide on a single large project that we will work on throughout the course of the year.  This project will teach you how a large, complex website is made from start to finish.  We will also provide lunch if enough money is donated.
